India - Aurangabad, a city in the state of Maharashtra is famous for world heritage sites Ajanata and Ellora caves with 2000 years old paintings on the cave walls and enormous rock hewn temples. The Universtiy was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of our first Prime Minister; Lt. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru On 23rd August 1958.. The university completing 50 years of its foundation in 2007 and its motto is "50 Years of Excellence and Social Commitment". The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology was established in 1987-1988; it has grown from modest beginning in 1994-1995 into a state-of-art facility and nowPossesses highly qualified faculty. The department has the privilege of being the leading department in research activities throughout Maharashtra region in the area of image processing, speech recognition, software engineering, biometrics, bioinformatics, human computer interaction, etc. The Department itself has organized various National and International events. This International Conference is a path of the Golden Gubilee Celebration
